Hey measurement peeps, when are you going to ever break out “mobile” to be truly “mobile?” Currently captures too many devices and behaviors. Out on the street with my iPhone is considerably different than on my couch with the same phone, let alone including tablets of varying sizes.
I have yet to see any analytics company or platform like Facebook, Twitter, Buzzfeed or StumbleUpon breaking out that kind of data. They should.

One particular feature in Vine that could open up to brands is the #hashtag themes section under the “Explore” navigation. I imagine there are plenty of products and brands that would line up to own one of these tiles for a day or a week. Vine should be thinking the same thing. Full article here.

Who’s the genius who is cooking up the script that will automagically port your Instagram community to ____________ (fill in blank). I’m flying with Flickr right now. Already an obviously robust online experience, Flickr’s mobile app made vast improvements with their last update. What other options are you exploring? Path? Twitter as a standalone? Hipstamatic?

First set of photos using the updated Flickr mobile app. In this iphonetographer’s opinion, the filters kick Instagram’s butt. It also already has a robust online set of tools. The only thing missing is the set of followers but that will come. Highly recommend this.
